Jonathan Majors helped break up a high school fight at a Hollywood In-N-Out. The acclaimed actor spoke to TMZ about his good samaritan duties.
The brawl broke out on Tuesday (Sept. 12) between two young ladies. Majors asserted that he jumped in the middle of the fight to ensure the student’s safety. Majors also stated he advised the teenagers to stay out of trouble and “stay cool.”
Jonathan’s good deed arrives amid his legal battle with his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. In March 2023, the Marvel Studios star was arrested for the alleged strangulation, assault, and harassment of Jabbari.
The Marvel actor called the cops to his Chelsea, NY, home for a domestic altercation. However, he was arrested and hauled off to jail on the night of the incident.
As his initial August 2023 trial approached, Majors filed a domestic violence complaint of his own at the Manhattan Criminal Court. His complaint pointed the finger at his former partner, stating that she attacked him — contrary to what she stated to police on the night of his arrest. Majors claimed that Jabbari was “drunk and hysterical” and caused him “pain and bleeding.” He also stated that the incident wasn’t the first time he experienced abuse from Jabbari, though he never reported it.
Since then, the high-profile case has been delayed twice, with the date now set for Friday (Sept. 15), Deadline reported.
Assistant District Attorney Kelli Galaway asserted that the prosecution team was ready for trial. However, the trial’s judge found “deficiencies” in discovery that still need to be reviewed. Due to the judge’s findings, the trial was pushed back yet again.
